Lyrics

**Verse 1** How can we—offer You enough praise— Praise for the one—who came in the form of man— And died for our sins— and in three days—You rose again— How can all creation—find enough ways— To show all the majesty—that from Your courts—Your hands formed and You raised! How in causing the rising of the sun— And the setting of the same Would not each and everyone Join together—to worship Him—and His holy name— **Chorus** And then—there’s the greatest question I can bring—is how You considered me— When yet still a sinner—then You still died for me— Ohhhh—-the price that You paid— for a free salvation you made— Sooo—right now—all our glory, praise and honor we bring— And may it—forever ring! **Verse 2** You are our is Creator—ohhh—You rule and reign over everything You are our Master and defender— So each morning—we will rise and sing— And even right now—we will rise and sing to You—all glory, honor and praise— And may it—forever ring! **Chorus** And then—there’s the greatest question I can bring—is how You considered me— When yet still a sinner—then You still died for me— Ohhhh—-the price that You paid— for a free salvation you made— Sooo—right now—all our glory, praise and honor we bring— And may it—forever ring! **Verse 3** Ohhh—You are the Merciful One—Your mercy falls on us and all—ohhh—on all living things— And You are the One—even knowing our ways—forgave us all—and are worthy of our trust for all our days— Ohhh—redeemer—and soon coming King— Right now—we stop! The Greatest Question I Bring

Read together: Psalm 19:1–6; Psalm 144:3–4; Titus 3:4–7; Romans 11:33–36

Every morning, the sun rises. Every evening, it sets. We rarely stop to think about it. This song does. How in causing the rising of the sun and the setting of the same, would not each and every one join together to worship Him and His holy name?

Read Psalm 19:1–6. "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech… In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun, which comes out like a bridegroom from his chamber." Creation is constantly preaching. Every sunrise is a sermon on God's power and faithfulness. The song's first verse asks how all creation could ever find enough ways to praise Him.

But then the song turns to something even more astonishing than the sun. And then there's the greatest question I can bring: how You considered me—when yet still a sinner, then You still died for me.

That is the greatest question. Not "How did God make the universe?" but "Why would the God who made the universe care about me?" Read Psalm 144:3–4. David asked, "O Lord, what is man that You take knowledge of him, or the son of man that You think of him? Man is like a breath; his days are like a passing shadow." We are small and our lives are brief. And yet God considered us.

More than that, He considered us while we were still sinners. The song keeps returning to that phrase because it is the heart of the gospel. God did not wait for us to become worth saving. Read Titus 3:4–7. "When the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy… so that, having been justified by His grace, we would become heirs with the hope of eternal life."

The third verse adds: You are the One who, even knowing our ways, forgave us all. God does not forgive in ignorance. He knows exactly what we have done and who we are. That makes His forgiveness all the more breathtaking.

The chorus speaks of the price that You paid for a free salvation You made. Salvation is free to us, but it was not free to Him. The cross is where the greatest question gets its answer—not a full explanation, but a demonstration of love so great that it silences our doubts.

Read Romans 11:33–36. After eleven chapters explaining the gospel, Paul breaks into worship: "Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His paths beyond tracing out!… For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen." When we come to the end of what we can understand about God's grace, the only fitting response is praise.

That is where the song ends too. Right now we stop—we stop and give You all the glory and our highest praise. The greatest question doesn't lead to a lecture. It leads to worship.

If you have never asked why God would care about you, ask it now. And then look at the cross. He has already answered with His Son.

A moment to respond: Tomorrow morning, watch the sunrise if you can, or simply step outside. Read Psalm 19:1–6. Then read Titus 3:4–5 and ask God the greatest question: "Why would You consider me?" Let your answer turn into praise.

Let's pray: Lord, You cause the sun to rise and set, and all creation declares Your glory. Yet the greatest wonder is that You considered us—while we were still sinners—and died for us. You knew our ways and still forgave. Thank You for the price You paid for our free salvation. Right now, we stop and give You all the glory. May our praise forever ring. Amen.

Our desire at UnrelentingJesus is that you would keep asking the greatest question—why God would love you—and keep answering it with praise.
